Atlas 8700K Mechanical Retail Pumps and Dispensers
The Atlas 8700K Series has several models including retail
electronic pumps, retail electronic dispensers, and a mechanical
full-computer register.
Specifications
Motor: Four-piston, positive displacement
flow through through CFT meter bolsters resistance to fuel contamination
with self-cleaning central chamber.
Solenoid valve: Standardized 1” solenoid valve that may be cleaned or replaced without breaking down pipe work.
Cabinet and finish:
13-gauge galvanized steel frame for superior corrosion resistance. Top
and sides are black or stainless steel, with lower panels painted
white, specified color, or stainless steel.
POS/Fleet Management Interface:
Pulsers converts register revolutions to electrical pulses for
connection to Gasboy Fleet Management Systems or POS. Select 10:1, or
100:1 ratios.
Satellite compatible piping: Provides
internal piping and union for connecting to a satellite dispenser for
convenient fueling of saddle tanks. Available on remote dispenser
models only.
Lighted brand area and display:
Illuminates product or grade and register areas with bright fluorescent
bulb. Dual lights illuminate register dial face and ad/brand panel for
night viewing.
8700K mechanical display register:
Veeder-Root® mechanical registers with power reset interlock. Displays
on both sides include money to $999.99 per sale; gallons or liters to
999.9; and price per gallon or liter to 9.999. Includes non resettable
mechanical totalizer.
Totalizer: 8700 includes standard mechanical non resettable totalizer.
Pump and motor:
Quiet, efficient rotary vane pump with an air eliminator and
self-priming built into pump casting. Pumps include an improved check
valve design and field replaceable shaft seal. Continuous duty motor.
Refer to table for horsepower.
Pressure regulator valve: Prevents product from leaking from the air elimination vent in aboveground tank suction pump installations.
Filters:
Ten-micron filter helps ensure product purity and helps protect
critical components from contamination. External filter kits Standard
and high flow kits include adapter, element, and pipe fittings. Specify
standard or hydrosorb element.
Ticket printers: Print ticket with volume dispensed. Zero start and accumulative models. Not available with light or EK options.
Hose: 3/4” or 1” hardwall hose, variable lengths available.
Automatic nozzles: Restrict flow when tank is full, 3/4” or 1”.
Internal hose retractor: Helps keep hoses out of the fueling lane.
High hose retractor: Eases hose handling with enclosed spring return. Keeps hose up and out of the way to reduce wear and run-over damage.
Hand crank for pumps only: Ideal for regions where power outages are likely. Allows dispensing by hand at a rate of .6 liters per stroke.
Mechanical reset: Recommended where a hand crank is likely to be used.
Vapor recovery: Complete vapor recovery kit or special nozzle boot and hanger only. Field installation required.

Standard - 115VAC/60 Hz. For other applications & international -
230VAC/60Hz; 230VAC/50Hz; 230VAC/60Hz with 380VAC motor; 230VAC/50Hz
with 380VAC motor.
Inlet connection: Standard and High - 1-1/2” (3.8 cm) NPT. Super High 2” (5cm) NPT.
Discharge: 1” NPT, adjustable to 3/4”.
Maximum working pressure: 50 PSI.
